Cancellations, Returns, & Refunds

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Due to the nature of items purchased, we cannot accept cancellations after the order is successfully placed. However, the cancellation can be availed with some deductions in the following cases:

  1. If we get the cancellation request within 24 hrs of the purchase and only if the order is not yet dispatched from our warehouse, we will cancel the order and refund after deducting basic processing fee. The charges may vary from INR 250 to 600 depending upon the product purchased
  2. Post shipment, our delivery partner will make 3 attempts to handover the product at the mentioned address. If the delivery is refused for whatsoever reason in the 3rd attempt, then the return protocol is initiated. Once we receive the product back in our warehouse, refund will be processed after deducting the To & Fro Shipping Charges and Processing Fees. This may vary from INR 1500 to INR 2500, depending upon the location and the item purchased

 

RETURN/REPLACEMENT POLICY 

At Space Stories we put in a lot of effort to ensure that you receive the product in top-notch condition. Every product undergoes a series of quality checks before it is properly packed and shipped across. However, if you still come across any manufacturing defect, please read the section below –

  1. The return policy is only applicable If you happen to receive a Damaged/Defected/Incorrect product. In such an event, please share relevant photos & details of the product/part to hello@spacestories.co.in
  2. Upon receiving your complaint, we will verify the authenticity and nature of the complaint. And if the complaint is found to be genuine, we will take the necessary action(s) required to resolve it


To return/replace the product, you are required to comply with the below-mentioned conditions:

  1. Please notify us of receipt of a damaged/defective product/service within 48 hours of delivery to you. If you are unable to do so within 48 hours, then a return/replacement cannot be issued.
  2. Any product(s) you wish to return should be in an unused condition and should be uninstalled. If the product is found to be used/installed, a return/replacement cannot be issued.
  3. If the product can be repaired at your delivery address/residence, we will get the same repaired there.
  4. In case product cannot be repaired, we will initiate the product return protocol where our delivery partner will come and collect the defected product. However, in non-serviceable areas, you will be required to deliver the product to our nearest Delivery Centre (in a different city from your city) at your own cost and risk within 7 (seven) days of your complaint.
  5. You have to pack the defected product properly in the same carton that you had received it in, along with the copy of the bill pasted on top. If the packaging is not done properly, then our courier partner will not accept the return.
  6. The returned products will be subject to verification and checks in order to determine the legitimacy of the complaint/return request. If the claim is not legitimate, you will be required to bear the shipping costs for the product. Also, if the complaint is frivolous or baseless, Space Stories reserves the right to take legal actions against you, and you will be solely liable for all costs incurred by us in this regard.

REFUND POLICY

Refund will only be applicable if

  1. The product was not received by the customer after 3 delivery attempts.
  2. The product received by the customer is defected/damaged and similar product is not currently available

In either of the cases, the refund will be initiated only after the product reaches our warehouse. It will take 10-14 working days for the payment to get processed and credited in your original method of payment. Depending on the orders, the processing charges might be deducted.
